Some weeks ago I published my producer set for music I released in the progressive genre. Now here’s a collection of all the more melodic and uplifting tracks I made from 2014 to 2018. Of course there are some original tracks like Adamantium or Novaturient, but I also included my uplifting remixes like Elements or Strange World for Jedmar.
A special track is the now unreleased remix I produced for Zura by my friend Opt-In.
So press play and enjoy!

Some of you might know that I once organised and played at the Trancecube some years ago. In recent years the event was taking a long hiatus, but it will be revived (for an unknown number of shows) and thus head of the party Pete Severano is gathering some resident DJs. He asked us to play some secret favourites we want to share with the #TranceFamily – that means some tracks that aren’t overplayed as „classics“.
Being the overachiever that I am (guilty!) I felt the need to compile two of these mixes with some older tracks and some more recent ones. Today Pete released the second one and I don’t want to keep them secret for you.
Enjoy these hidden gems of classic and new school Trance!

While playing the piano more and more again, I have played some movie scores. I’ve always loved the „Forrest Gump“ movie score and here is the main theme, the feather theme. Don’t tell me it’s not perfectly played (like a pianist could), I know, but it’s a beautiful piece of music!
Dear friends, for quite some time thoughts went around in my mind, how to straighten up my analogue and digital identity. The reasons are as follows:
I appreciate data sovereignity.
I want to organise my day autonomously.
I want to produce my music focussed and avoid distraction.
I want range of influence for my music.
These 4 points are not completely consistent as you gain influence in the music business partly by using Facebook. Unfortunately you then depend on this instrument which has been causing some distress for me. Facebook is problematic:
It’s an advertisement instrument which uses our data to generate revenue on us. Partly we reveal our data freely because we want to share with acquaintances, friends and family. But mainly we share these information with Facebook, which I don’t intend to accept anymore.
Facebook is tracking all and every clicks and mouse movements we do on their platform. Also, if you’re logged in in your browser it is tracking all of your other tabs that are open. It’s more or less known, but I don’t intend to accept it anymore.
Facebook is asking for constant interaction with it, with other people, to look at ads. Partly we let it determine our daily schedule and I don’t intend to accept it anymore.
All these reasons have led to the decision to delete my Facebook accountwithin the next two weeks. And I do mean delete, not deactivate.
Connected to the Facebook company are subsidiaries like Instagram (which I used only briefly) and WhatsApp. As I have a big number of private contacts on WhatsApp I will give myself 6 months time to delete it.
If you want to keep contact you can always use these channels:
So weit, so bekannt.
Now here it is! This track blew me away back in 2013 and I’ve had that project lying around. Now I found the time to finish it and I like to hear it time and time again! It’s an uplifter, it’s melodic and I tried to make it a little bit heavy in the bassline, too.
I’m not 100% sure about the mastering, but I’ve worked on it so much, maybe I just need your pairs of ears – and I’ll update the Master later, if anything arises.
In the last weeks I have been practicing the piano more and more again. I have worked into some classical stuff, but also movie scores which I love usually. They make movies more watchable and even enhance them. What I’m not into are romantic comedies, though they tend to have lovable scores and that’s where I’m headed here: The „Glasgow Love Theme“ caught me without having seen the movie.
I have practiced a bit and didn’t play everything perfectly, but I wanted to put it out there. I hope, you enjoy it! 🙂
It has been five years since I released my first producer set. In 2014 I had reached a good high in productions but my sound got even more professional and the labels became bigger which really made me happy. Finally in 2016 I produced my first ever Chillout album Wonders which I enjoyed so much and made me proud I can’t even begin to describe. So when I started producing more this summer I realized it was time to sum up my productions of the last 4 years (since I haven’t finished something this year, yet).
This set is the progressive part with a lot productions I put on Teknofonic, but also contains my last tracks on Dirt, Lies & Audio (which then ceased to exist) and a free remix I did. I hope you enjoy it!

Digitally Imported once again invited me to be part of their Vocal Trance End Of Year Show which I have been attending since 2014. I put together some of the best tunes of the year including Richard Durand, James Dymond, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Steve Allen, Susana, Activa, Lostly, FloE, Cold Blue and so many more!
Maybe one of my favourite tunes called Empathy by Alan James is non-vocal, but I couldn’t walk around it in this mix. Tune in to hear all the top tracks!

The last Epiphany of Sound is four weeks old and so I had to take the time to mix another Trance set! This time I took some Aly & Fila, Dustin Husain, Miroslav Vrlik, FloE & Alex Byrka and other quality producers and put it together into over an hour of pumping beats and sweet melodies. At the end I put a new Billy Gillies remake of Chicane’s collab with Bryan Adams called Don’t Give Up which really fits the rest!
