Epiphany of Sound works its way back into your speakers! This time we have some music by Factor B, Guy Alexander, M.A.T.I. and James Dymond. But the classic is a real banger: Suncatcher remixed „Sapphire“ by Juventa, which was a real gem back then!
The next 2 hours will blow you away! In this compilation of some of the best tracks of the 2010s I collected mostly heavy, uplifting and vocal tunes. Be it Steve Allen or James Dymond, the Skylex Remix of The Thrillseekers‘ Amber or Luke Bond’s On Fire remixed by Aly & Fila, all of them share a driving beat, some even Tech elements, but still a beautiful and breathtaking melody! Listen to Illitheas‘ Epica, Fady & Mina’s Akemi or Chris SX‘ Connecting People – they still have a breathtaking break and memorable chord patterns to enjoy everytime.
The anniversary episode is finally here! I started the Epiphany of Sound podcast in 2013 and back then it was a great step to professionalize my work. I produced the opening and the soundbits to brand my podcast and build it around the more powerful nuances in Trance. I’ve had some really great episodes I like to listen to once in a while and over at hearthis or Mixcloud you can really listen to all the episodes!
The anniversary episode focusses on tracks I haven’t played often enough or that I can’t stop to play. Sometimes they’re from the second row of successful tracks, not the top played tracks in the genre, but that’s what I love about them! Some of them are from the pre-Epiphany of Sound era, which is pretty long ago in regard of such a quick industry. The name list is too long to reproduce it here: Daniel Kandi, Ferry Tayle, Ferry Corsten, DNS Project, Suncatcher, 7 Skies, Temple One, Giuseppe Ottaviani, John O’Callaghan…nearly every track in here is a classic!
Thus you shouldn’t hesitate and get this 2 hour mix playing! Press play and enjoy!
Epiphany of Sound is back within very few days! This episode is full of floating melodies, not so much the powerful Trance hooks you hear sometimes. I love those aethereal pads, some plucks or pointing pianos from the likes of Ferry Tayle, Suncatcher, Alessandra Roncone or Johan Gielen.
The „classic“ is of Andain’s Promises which has been reworked by Chris Schweizer last year. Still a great tune!
