Epiphany of Sound – Vol. 110

Not long ago I mixed the episode 109 and here is the next one! I’m trying to follow some tunes I had missed in the last 2 years, but still play new material. I have Cold Blue in here, Skynet, Ula, Darren Porter, Giuseppe Ottaviani and many others!

I picked two remakes of classics. At first Amir Hussain’s Bootleg of Tranzy State of Mind by Push and the official Sean Tyas Remix of Rapid Eye’s Circa Forever. You can never go wrong with Steve Helstrip!

Epiphany of Sound – Vol. 109

After all the special mixes I sat down to present a new „Epiphany of Sound“ for you. It is clearly an episode containing some new tracks and some that I found along the way and never played in the show. So not everything in here is completely fresh, but definitely worth a listen!

Epiphany of Sound – Top 100 of 2010s (Part 5)

In the last 3 months I shared some of my favourite tunes of the 2010s. I included some progressive, some uplifting, some even Tech Trance tunes and now here we are with some of the best of the best. This mix contains some of the „uber“tunes I heard and played in the last decade.

Of course I can’t let the COVID-19 situation to stay unmentioned. The virus infection has kept me in my flat for the last 10 days and I have developed a sort of a day routine. Music has always been part and it keeps me happy. I don’t intend t to be cynical, but this situation has given me the chance to finish my Top of 2010s work.

But don’t worry, most of us will be safe soon. So turn to music and listen to tracks by Luke Bond, Cold Blue, Dan Stone, Daniel Kandi, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Ferry Tayle, Robert Nickson, Aly & Fila and so many other already legendary produceers.

Trancecube: Personal Classics Vol. III

Back in September 2019 I released two personal classics mixes with tracks that are some of my favourites, but not „overplayed“. Constantly looking for old and new tunes I found some stuff I play not too often, but it always gets me. These are tunes by Ronski Speed, Boom Jinx or Substate aka Activa. With less than 45 minutes of music it’s a nice short set to not get bored.

Trance has had a lot of overwhelming tracks in the 2010s and thus here is part 4 of my conclusional Top 100 mix. It’s full of melodies and driving beats from the likes of Roman Messer, James Dymond, ReOrder & Ian Standerwick, Dan Stone, Simon Patterson and many others! Redux Sessions Guestmix on 1 March 2020

The Redux label family has been one of my biggest achievements in the last years. We are still connected and so I played a short guest mix of an hour for the Redux Spotlight Sessions. The next 2 hours will blow you away! In this compilation of some of the best tracks of the 2010s I collected mostly heavy, uplifting and vocal tunes. Be it Steve Allen or James Dymond, the Skylex Remix of The Thrillseekers‘ Amber or Luke Bond’s On Fire remixed by Aly & Fila, all of them share a driving beat, some even Tech elements, but still a beautiful and breathtaking melody! Epiphany of Sound – Top 100 of 2010s (Part 2)

Putting together the Epiphany of Sound series with the best tracks of the 2010s was a big task. The first mix covered most progressive tracks, so the second part is making the transition to the more energetic music. It is just over 2 hours of general Trance, some classical like Sean Mathews Paradise or the Suncatcher remix of Leave The Light On, some pointing to more uplifting Trance like Robert Nickson’s Somewhere In Spacetime or Daniel Kandi’s Change The World. One track that had to be in is the melodic, melancholic monolith that is Time To Rest, which Andy Blueman remade himself in 2011.

All over this mix shows how diverse trance has been in the 2010s and it creates some appetite for the uplifting episodes!
