Trance. Progressive House. Chillout.
Recently I noticed some of my older releases weren’t present online anymore. I know this happened when I had to choose some uploads to be taken down due to Soundcloud restrictions. I just had too many music up there!
Also, as ALYF Recordings ceased to exist, my releases there had been down, too. So I had to re-upload some tracks, which I did on the weekend.
So, if you enjoy my music, here are some teaser snippets again for you. And I always appreciate you supporting my music!
It has been some time since I released a new track, but I’m getting back in the game! World Flow is a banging track with a heavy kick and some shining stab synths. This is accompanied by some sweet pulse shaped arpeggii that sweeten the track with some melody.
Also, I’m reaching out to a new label with Tecnomind Music which have been rising in the last months when it comes to Trance. I’m just so excited to get this track on the way on June 12th, 2020!
Epiphany of Sound has become more regular during COVID-19 pandemic times. I really enjoy mixing all the music nearly every week! This time I put together The Thrillseekers, David Surok, Maria Healey, Rafael Osmo & Robert Gitelman and many others.
This week’s classic is The Perfect Storm remixed by Adam Francis. It’s a great, uplifting, but still flowing end to this show.

Not long ago I mixed the episode 109 and here is the next one! I’m trying to follow some tunes I had missed in the last 2 years, but still play new material. I have Cold Blue in here, Skynet, Ula, Darren Porter, Giuseppe Ottaviani and many others!
I picked two remakes of classics. At first Amir Hussain’s Bootleg of Tranzy State of Mind by Push and the official Sean Tyas Remix of Rapid Eye’s Circa Forever. You can never go wrong with Steve Helstrip!

After all the special mixes I sat down to present a new „Epiphany of Sound“ for you. It is clearly an episode containing some new tracks and some that I found along the way and never played in the show. So not everything in here is completely fresh, but definitely worth a listen!
Whether it’s 4 Strings, Fischer & Miethig, Will Atkinson, Activa or the Ciaran McAuley remix at the end, you always hear something special.

In November or so I recorded „Una Mattina“, but hesitated to upload it, since it was not perfect. It still isn’t, but I recorded a pretty good version and I’m satisfied for now. Maybe you like this version since it’s a bit different from the original.
On a side note I found out, Einaudi mostly sounds good with very bright pianos. The mellow pianos don’t fit most of his music.
Between 2 Worlds is a mix reflecting all that makes Jaded’s and my friendship so special. We can always fit our music together – melodies, beats, grooves, pads and everything else. It’s always interesting and thrilling since we put another aspect into play every now and then. But we can always rely on the other part recognizing the feeling of the bigger picture.
So now here we have a mix starting off with chilled beats by Roald Velden leading to more groovy basslines. It’s perfect for spring and maybe it can start your spring – even in these difficult times at home. Maybe in your garden, maybe in your living room or your kitchen.

Back in 2012/2013 Jaded from Hungary and I started a mix series. At first we just wanted to share some progressive tunes (mostly progressive Trance). Then we discovered it was working out well and crafted a trilogy with some even more progressive and housey tunes. The rest is history – the trilogy Sunrise – Gravity – Heaven was born. It was featured on FriskyRadio later and, since it’s gone, I wanted to share it with you again. It’s still a series I love to listen to!
Sunrise is the opening mix with Jaded playing some really proggy and bouncy tunes with me joining in with some more flowing vibes. Enjoy!

About 8 years ago (whoa!) I started working with my Hungarian friend Jaded. We worked out a mix and then one thing led to another until we had two trilogies of club music and chillout music respectively. It was Sunrise – Heaven – Gravity and Inspire – Recreate – Enlighten which were then featured on FriskyRadio. Now they’re gone, so I will upload them later again.
Life moved on, so we didn’t really manage to keep up. But in late 2019 we started a new project which led to a new dynamic. In these times of a global disease we got together closer again and mixed a chilled dance mix full of Progressive House to dream or to dance to. It’s a home listener’s mix between two countries, thousand miles apart but still close. Maybe this is what can keep our minds up – we still have each other, we still have music.
So on April 10th, 2020 Jaded and I will release a new mix with two parts – the first part is mixed by me, the second comes from Hungary. The set is called Between 2 Worlds which is maybe the best title we could come up with in these times.

The novel coronavirus has the world in its hands. But I can assure you, Waves is here to calm your panic down! The spring edition of my Ambient/Chillout show is about to bring pads and synths through your speakers that will let you know: In the end everything will be fine.
With me I have the Russian Sergey Tarasov, whose tracks I have played throughout the years more than once. His production style is Chillout Trance mostly, but in his DJ sets he features some glitchy tunes with deep pads and rumbling beats, too. It is a revelation hearing his selection! In 2019 he already played a Chillout Sundays set on Frisky.
The second hour is music I picked with music by Stefan Grossmann, Astroleaf, DJ Shah, Jellis & Subsets and some other great artists. There is nothing to be missed here!
