Next Waves on March 1st – featuring SlumberMachine

After celebrating the 16 years anniversary in February I have the next fine dish for you on Waves: Californian DJ and producer SlumberMachine will join me in an exclusive 1 hour set of his sound! He will play a lot of his own tunes lingering between deep ambient music, some lush, wide pads and some downtempo. The set will calm you down on your Sunday, that I can promise!

It is time to bring it: Polar Impact has become one of my favourite uplifting labels in recent years and months. Waves – 16 years Anniversary on February 1st, 2026

Waves was my first show and is still one of the biggest joys in my life. When I mix it, I feel pure pleasure and can calm down from the world. So next Sunday it will be the 16th anniversary, which I still can’t wrap my head around – where has the time flown?

Expect some new tunes from one of my favourite labels at the moment – Space Music – and some other classic tracks that I always love to play. There are some special artists like Chicane, Sean Mackey, Airbase, Bvdub or Roald Velden who just have the right feeling with Chillout and Ambient music.

So on Sunday, February 1st, 2026 make yourself ready at 7 a.m. EST / 1 p.m. CET for the best in Chillout, Ambient and Downtempo. Celebrate 16 years of Waves with me and enjoy the Chillout Sunday!

In Between – 13 Years Anniversary on March 28th 2025

It has taken quite some time to realise: In Between is already 13 years old. I’ve been mixing this show with deep house, progressive house and progressive Trance for this long time now – every month with the same joy! I love picking the tunes, putting them together to a full, nice set of fitting melodies and beats, and finally mixing and listening later. It is like working on a piece as a craftsman and later being proud you made it.

So this time I took some of the hottest tunes right now and compiled music by the likes of Emre K, Manu & Bennett, Pouls3n, the new Paul van Dyk, Marcel Vautier and many others. I had to include a classic by Hydroid – The Eternal which probably was one of my go to tunes when it came to progressive Trance back in the days when I started this show.

So tune into FriskyRadio on Friday, March 28th, 2025 at 2 p.m. ESST / 7 p.m. CET – mind the different summer time in Europe and the US!
